McNeil is not a regular starter in a European team. He lacks pace and he lacks an ability to lose a man because they know he sticks to his left foot like his right has been cut off at the knee.

McNeil is a good player, he just isn't who we should be holding hopes for at RW. Should be a squad player utilised at LW and CAM.

He simply hasn’t had a decent run of games to be able to tell if he can make it as a top footballer or not. Last year would have been the season to make a judgement on his ability/potential but the injury stopped that.

Keep the faith lads. We will get 2/3 in by the end of the American tour and 4/5 in by the end of the window. Top half finish as a pit stop on our way back to Europe finishes from next season onwards

All I will say is that Moyes is getting more leeway this season than Dyche did last. Dyche said pre season friendliest were not about tactics and got blasted for it. Not sure we have seen any different vs Accrington or Blackburn so far but...
