I saw Ozzy live more times than anyone else. Partly because I liked his stuff and partly because he and Sharon were not afraid to pair him with top notch support bands. He could never be considered a great singer but he was a great vocalist and...

We think it, Ozzy did it.

My best mate's mum has just died. 101 years old, active and bright as a button til the last. When I visited as a kid, playing subbutteo and wargames for hours, I used to look forward to the enormous dinners, cups of tea she'd bring up stairs...

To be fair, Sharon is Jewish and massivly Zionist, and Ozzy would sign anything she told him to sign. I wouldn’t ascribe too much agency to Ozzy after the mid-80’s, and certainly not political agency.

This is overlooked. And NZ blues (sic) don't like it being pointed out.

RIP John Fallon ( being reported as John but I'm sure I remember him back in the day as Sean). The 12th member of the Lisbon Lions. There is an awful lot of “ this will never happen again” baloney these days, but a squad of players all brought...

I wouldn’t assign agency to Ozzy after about 1968. In the early days he’d turn up to rehearsals with a shoe attached to string and was walking it around like it was a dog on a lead. Think it’s in the VH1 classic album episode about Paranoid.

You think Ozzy had anything to do with organising anything in the last 20-30years? Just watch The Osbourne’s again and you’ll see how little day he had in his own stage act, even back then.

He also let Disturbed play on his farewell show, even though David Draiman literally signed bombs that Israel would later drop on Gaza. There's defo a recent pattern and, much as I love the fella's music, ignorance is no excuse.

Not a dry eye in the house during ‘mama I’m coming home’ at Villa Park a couple of weeks ago. We all knew it was a matter of when :(

It is nowadays mate. My mum and dad are both in their late 70s and still as active as they ever where. My dad still goes out to work most days, through choice, at 3am and the mother goes hiking every other weekend and is fit as a fiddle. Both got...
