If Soucek was exceptional at what he does then he wouldn't be leaving West Ham to sign for Everton for 12m.

I would just prefer we avoid spending money on 30+ year old players unless they are exceptional at what they do. Soucek is decent but not a game-changer for us. I'd rather use that 12m elsewhere i.e., a younger version of him or Doucoure.

It would be more fair to say he's going to get you roughly 5-10 goals a season probably.

He needs to play as high up the pitch as possible really. I think that his best position is an 8/10 hybrid type so I'd play him with Gueye and Garner with him as the highest of that trio rather than use him as an option instead of one of them...
