Utter tripe for anyone that doesn't live in Liverpool. Good way to alienate people even more!

Nobody in the history of football has called a press conference or put out a release to explain a lack of signings mid-window, or to say they intend to pad out a squad with loans. Please just take the day off mate.

ToffeeScot replied to the thread 2024/25 Jordan Pickford.
Pickford is far better than Trafford currently but it's clear that Trafford is in line to be England no. 1 sooner rather than later. He was a top performer for Burnley in the Championship and England U21s when they won the Euros the first time...

I think we might end up signing another CB, possibly on loan, just to provide some extra cover.

    Everton, this.

Isak going to Liverpool could reignite our Doak interest but feels sickly funding their transfer season.

I'm sure Moyes will talk to the player, but that will surely be after our recruitment team has been in touch with the club and player to see if he's even interested. And has being given permission to talk to him.

Moyes doesn't do the deals or negotiate as you must know, the negotiating is down to our highly rated recruitment team, there is enough of them, if they have been brought in too late then that is down to the owners. Sounds a bit like an agenda...

Yeah, Moyes will have some say in transfers, especially if he is meeting players but I doubt the Friedkins are going to let him have as much of a weight in deciding them as people are suggesting.

ToffeeScot replied to the thread Transfer Rumour Douglas Luiz.
Douglas Luiz based on his Villa period would be a top class signing. He's only had one year away from the league and he's still young enough that you should be able to get 3+ years out of him. It's not like, with respect, a Grealish who has had...

The question was; I'm saying, 20+ goal involvements in that season, and him being a standout player in a team that finished their highest place in 30 years to earn a £50m move - then the answer is without doubt yes. Even things like; Among...

20 years old. Makes sense to let go. Hopefully there is a clause in there that benefits us if he moves up the leagues.

Eugh. Bit worrying that he seems to be picking up a lot of injuries.
