Difficult to see how that would be a good deal for any of the parties involved really.

No resale value at the end of his contract and high wages. It's like people don't remember the Steve Walsh / Moshiri years at all.

Beto ended the season well but do you really want to put the weight of our attempt to climb the table on his shoulders ? Ferguson went to West Ham with a manager that knows and you’d presume trusts him and was in and out the side with less than...

If we stick with the 4-2-3-1 it really requires attacking/overlapping fullbacks who can push right forward and contribute, that's not Myko sadly although he does make for a great squad option.

Coutinho ran around Gana in 2017 to score at Anfield. It’s now 2025 and Gana has only got slower. He’s great at sitting deep, timing interceptions, nicking the ball back, closing passing lanes yes absolutely but he’s not great at dominating space...

If you look at him, he's sort of a poor man's Gyokeres in so much as he's a focal point but he carries the ball a lot - stylistically I think United or Everton would have been a good fit, but as much as Chelsea are clearly the best of the clubs...

Lad has talent, but I wonder if a loan to a newly promoted PL team might be a better option next season

It's about progress Matty. You might get Arsenal away in the QF or something where getting a result is v tough, so saying winning one is the only real sign of any progress from where weve been would be a bit harsh. What I don't want is for us to...

Top half (10th would be fine), a cup run (quarters at least). An increase on the 48 points we gained this season. But what I really want is to see some progress in terms of attacking threat that we can add to the solid defensive base we have.

Wages aren't discussed enough in terms of bidding for a player for example buying someone like Doak for what looks like a rip off 20m but on £50,000 a week is a total package of 32m over 5 years including wages. Where as someone like Grealish on...

If I were him, Chelsea are actually the last of his choices I'd have gone with. Don't think he's a particularly good fit from a style perspective. Still, we move on. Bring me big Nick Woltemade and we'll forget Delap jr ever existed

I'm also not on the fence with wanting him gone. Great attitude, fast, strong, decent in the air, good movement, clearly wants to get better and a really likeable lad but one of the worst technical footballers I've ever seen here and I watched...
