Edwards is/was "difficult" in a similar way to Lookman. Quiet and introverted. Definitely not one of the lads and therefore perceptions in football are that he is standoffish and rude, even a bit weird. Football can be brutal and reputations are trashed early. I'm not such Edwards is PL quality...
