Sure but then he doesn’t have a spot

It’s probably worth considering if Jack isn’t shooting because he can’t get to the positions consistently. I’d probably leave him where he is.

The big question is now does he learn. We go to City in a month or so. Can he put together a plan that lets us compete from the start? It’s an attacking team now and we can’t win if we’re not playing to that.

Far to late with his substitutions yet again 7 minutes ?????

Needs to look at himself for that first half. That’s not good enough for where this club wants to be, not excusable that players just aren’t ready. That’s Leeds and Liverpool now we’ve thrown two halves of football because the players aren’t ready.

Our midfield needs to be allowed to compete. We have bossed games when we’ve stepped up the pitch and gone for it. Gana is still a top notch player in any team and Garner is solid enough as well. I’d love to target better obviously but I just...

I mean how good do we want to be? Because right now on the wings good enough for us is as good as anyone in the division. I’d like that to be the target in his position as well.

Exactly! Dibling and Alcaraz are not just capable but actually different threats from what is starting. And even McNeil can do something when the moment calls for it.

Specially when for once we actually really have good substitutes who can change the game

The biggest detriment to that is the guy in the technical area.

Well they scored twice from 3 shots on target and one went through his legs when he stranded himself coming halfway out. To me it’s not fine.

That’s fair, I just don’t see a plan for how we’re using subs and in this era you have to have one

They didn’t cope with Moyes either! We went 2-0 down sitting deep because Tarkowski is slow and doesn’t read danger quick enough. When we stepped up and played it was a contest but that was at 2-0 down because the initial plan had been blown to...

Me too, I can never work out if that comes from Moyes or its him, in some games he has done it, Moyes is screaming at him too stop and others he is doing it all game. It's hugely wasteful at times.

It’s not a choice anymore. In the 5 sub world you have to have plans for how to use subs every single week. When you don’t you’re setting yourself behind from everyone else.
