….find it difficult to believe we’d want Malick Fofana and Grealish. Surely one or the other and not both.
Also, find it difficult to believe Beto links given he’s just been given no9.
Doak, who hasn't been mentioned for a couple of weeks, is currently playing in their friendly against AC Milan (they are losing 1-3 and he is not doing anything at centre forward).
Milan have got a very decent Belgian reserve right wing-back...
Fofana plays left wing. Not sure where that leaves Ndiaye and Alcaraz, never mind McNeil, but I guess that's Moyes' issue. I personally think Ndiaye would flourish anywhere in attacking midfield, while McNeil isn't good enough to be starting...
This is exactly the type of signing we should be making all over the squad. Low fee, low salary, low risk. Another 3-4 of this type and another 3 more proven, senior signings.
I just think its strange that somebody who has suggested that every Summer we bid for the brightest and best youngsters in world football is suddenly suggesting we "stay in our lane" and simply dont bother.
Hence my confusion, but you knew that...
Most players that are linked or talked about as potential targets I have never heard of. Jarne Steuckers is an interesting one though. Very good player imo. Watched him a lot last season, as I hold a big soft spot for his current club Racing Genk.
