Who are we too far behind? I think were capable of 7th/8th next season Likes of Brentford, Bournemouth, Fulham, Brighton, Forest, Palace etc aren't all that different in terms of quality, we need more in attack, but defensively were stronger...

Massively over paid there imo. He’s nothing special

Nearly £50m spent on two young and promising lads, and people will still moan. This is the right way to do things, the board is now in place and now the players need replacing.

Big season for Beto. So what if he's not silky skilled. Lukaku was hardly dennis bergkamp. Let Alcaraz show the guile around him. Theres a 20 goal striker there if he gets picked regular. 8 goals in 15 starts last season has imo gone under the...

Look at what Forest did. Of course that was with an orgy of acquisitions. Like what we've done so far but the pace needs stepping up.

Newcastle went from just surviving relegation to finishing fourth the next season in a span of two windows, so it’s defo doable. I am not saying that we will finish that high in a couple of windows but we can only get better.

Peaked. I don't think this is a good move. Two or three seasons ago, yes. Now, no chance.

Oh look Stefan the borg has had to have his say saying if he were Branthwaite he would not have signed a five year deal!?!?!? What the hell is it with this guy, he has already had it in for our club with the points deductions etc. It’s...

If there is one thing Moyes is really good at, it’s coaching centre backs. Stubbs, Weir, Dawson, all veteran defenders who flourished as he knew how to prepare them properly. If Keane ever comes in it seems likely he will rediscover some of his...

You have to imagine his agent has constantly been in his ear, but there a still a few grounded lads like him about and pleased for Westham that their faith in him is reciprocated by his loyalty.

Feel for all his family, but genuinely cant even begin to fathom how his wife must be feeling. Marries the man she loves, and loses him a week later. Awful, awful news. RIP.

If we’ve built up a recruitment team that can’t find a better prospect in world football for £7-£10 million than Harrison, then it was a complete waste of everyone’s time.

Gordon wasnt worth 45m when we sold him. Peoe were happy tosell him for 30m in the summer transfer window. That was just a perfect storm of Newcastle having more money then sense and being desperate to sign him. Liverpool might want to recoup a...

Do I understand it correctly that if we push through, say, a £75m sale of Everton Women to ourselves, that frees up the ability to spend £75m additionally on transfers in the current PSR year until 30th June next year, assuming our current...
