I couldn't disagree more about Manchester United. They are in a complete mess. They have countless average players on contracts well beyond their worth. The only way they will be able to shift some of them is by paying out a large contribution...

We saved his career by stopping him joining that bin fire of a club.

It's great, isn't it? Made up they lost last night. 😆 They'll be offering agents double commission to offload their ridiculously expensively-assembled squad of awful players. Onana, Maguire, Casemiro, Mount, Rashford, Zirkzee, Hojland, De Ligt...

…also as we’ve seen, clubs won’t match their wages so most will sit on their lengthy current deals. It’s a mess.

100%, they do not have money to throw around. PSR means they can’t afford anyone like Jarrod without selling first. I mean, who’s going to want any of their awful squad.

….no doubt about the size of the club but surely last nights result leaves United in a greater mess than they already were. An expensively purchased squad of players on extraordinary contracts who are nowhere good enough will be impossible to...

Agree. A contract for the likes of Branthwaite gives us a sense of power as of strengthening our bargaining power. Means more wages we have to pay but means more income from the transfer. This only applies if the player keeps consistency...

I think he'll sign a new contract with a release clause. We need to get into Europe next season if we want to keep him

He'd be mad to go to Man United. They are in a right mess. If he leaves, it will be a Champions league team.

agree, would not take him for 25 mil or whatever, but I think he looked good in Moyes' system and I think we could be a weirdly good right winger or right back. Would not be upset if we didn't get him, but thought he looked more interesting...

I actually forgot about Mangala.. IF he was available again on loan then I reckon that'd be a no-brainer. Fills another gap in CM next season.

The transformation in spirit , performance and results from Dyche to Moyes is truly remarkable. Is it an indicator of how great a manager Moyes is or how bad Dyche was ? A bit of both I think. The summer and next season is huge - an opportunity...
