The most embarrassing thing about that Bournemouth game was the way they equalised in the 96th minute and rushed back to the half way line instead of celebrating because they knew they had time to win it. Bournemouth did that against us.

…no, Osman was all about quality in possession, Gueye is lots about winning possession. One really good with the ball, the other really good out of possession. Other than stature and them being Everton midfielders I don’t see any similarities...

Leon Osman was a very clever player. He was lightweight, but he was smart. And a far better passer of the ball than Gueye, whose strength is in destroying rather than the tricky creativity Osman gave us.
