Excellent. Time for some proper competition. It’s what proper clubs do. Pickford is our undisputed number one. It’s time somebody started to dispute that…as it benefits both players and the club. Travers isn’t good enough yet to dislodge him...

It still bothers me that we only have one LB at the club. Surely we need another, even if its one of the U21's in the squad.

….instead of what? We need another keeper, it’s a necessary acquisition and the better he is the stronger the squad.

Also good to have a decent standard of goalies in the squad for training etc. A lot of people forget it's not just about what happens on the pitch on a match day. Good back ups raises everyone's level.
