Nonsense...we wouldn't be willing to pay the release clause without knowing first if the player was keen or not. Agents keep using Everton and I guess with TFG, it seems that's easy...except so far roma is spending more than us even they are...

Not sure why this signing has attracted so much attention. It’s a solid piece of business - a low cost dependable reserve keeper. Nothing much to add. There are gaping holes in the first team to fill which are much higher priorities.

I think this is spot on. I think folks are downplaying the renegotiations. The squad of course needs improvement, but its spine is fairly assuring at this point and the most important names were retained which wasn't a given. I personally am...
