I can see him featuring in our matches this month:
4th Jan - Brentford (H)
7th Jan - Wolves (H)
10th Jan - Sunderland (H) FA Cup
18th Jan - Aston Villa (a)
26th Jan - Leeds (H)
31st Jan - Brighton (a)
Then depending on the squad...
Moyes said more than likely that he’ll be brought back from his loan spell.
I actually watched him for Preston v Coventry live at the stadium (long story!) and he was fantastic, best player on the pitch for them that night.
Wouldn’t surprise...
We need to talk about Tim.
He’s gradually becoming a permanent fixture in the engine room.
Got everything to be a very good Everton player if he continues his current trajectory.
Very underrated in my opinion.
….dare I say it, maybe a few positive signs from Barry in respect of his all around play. It would be good to have another option but the summer window might actually turn out ok (despite me being one of the ones suggesting otherwise).
I feel...
Got to be “horses for courses” with our left back position; Mykolenko was solid again tonight playing in a low block and being tasked to defend 1v1. He’s so effective at that.
We know his limitations going forward, so is there scope for Aznou...
Garner, Iroegbunam and Tarkowski outstanding. Garner MOTM.
Patterson very poor particularly in defensive 1v1’s versus Hudson-Odoi and worryingly, even Röhl looked better than him when moved there! Needs shifting on ASAP with a proper RB brought...
Sometimes the most pleasing wins are the least expected ones. When I saw the team tonight and how well Forest had played against city, I feared the worst. Well done to the players and management and James Garner deservedly motm.
We are well stacked in centre mid:
Gueye
Garner
Iroegbunam
Röhl
Alcaraz
Dewsbury-Hall
Plus we’ll have Armstrong coming back in the summer.
There’s no way we could justify spending money on Gallagher when we have massive issues at RB...
