Grave beech ( my phone's spelling, not mine ) and Rice do get forward pretty well .

Bit more right sided, but yeah similar in output. I thought he was man of the moment at Athletico, or is that old news?

I'm hoping the recruitment team are just placating Moyes - so far nobody who has arrived seems 'overly' Moyes, go get a RB and DM from abroad - way better value a lot wider choice. Buying that position inside the league you get absolutely skinned...

I’m torn on Gallagher. I was never impressed with him during his time at Chelsea but weirdly think he’d do well for us/under Moyes. He’s disciplined and industrious. A loan with an option could work. I’d arguably rather have him than Mainoo.

Would be utter madness. The Paqueta link on the other hand ;) Instant upgrade on KDH and both are also better as CMs...competition.

My definition is somebody who can get around the pitch and actually play football. The best form of defence is actually having the ball

I probably interpret CM more as defensive/ holding players. The sort of position Charley went tits up in during the build up to Leeds 'penalty'. Not that he meant too, obvs. I don't see KDH plugging that gap, I think he's more of a forward...

Other than Barry who's not bagged yet, have we technically filled _any_ of those spaces, beyond Dibling this week. KDH, is barely a centre mid. Not that I minded watching Jack on Sunday ( I've moaned about what a strange loan this, happy to eat...

Lucas Paqueta from West Ham linked. An attacking midfielder, I thought we had enough who can play that role but we shall see, personally I don't believe it's true. I would prefer a holding midfielder, protect the defence, a real hair pulling...

Nice work on the clips. Jack at it, best I've seen him for yonks. Final ball and passing in general were excellent. Got stuck in, too. Impressive, hoped he'd improve after Leeds, but didn't see that coming.

It’s a difference of opinion. But the talk after those early games was definitely how good he looked . And the discussion on here reflected that. He suffered an injury and has struggled to recover that early form. But I think he is well worth...

A season out on loan could do him the world of good, but we'll need another CM in next week for that to happen. Get him and Chermiti out on loan, if they impress give them opportunities next season, if not, sell in the summer.

I think most of the time he’s played in a team that isn’t set up well so it’s hard to judge him. You could argue he is part of that problem but I would like to see him play with our full team a few times when he actually has forward options to...

Fine athlete. Average footballer. Already had the obligatory loan in his career to play games. Not sure we can apply the “needs minutes” thing here. He is the player he is going to be. He’s not going to suddenly mature into Toure...
