Horrible club forest, neville was right about their behaviour after we beat them and right to call out that fat slob for wobbling onto the pitch.
perhaps if he crosses a picket line they will welcome him back
As I said before in this thread - if clubs have to do this to stay afloat they should be transfer banned.
If Everton did this (sacking people on wages which would put them living paycheque to paycheque) then spent 100m+ on players I would be...
James Rodriguez signing is still mad to me. Eto’o was mad too, but he was proper over the hill whereas James was still absolutely boss when he played for us
Sadly United have far too much money to be relegated, Spuds too probably. They'll just buy their way to safety if they need to. Plus there's the Sky6 factor.
Wet Spam must be due a relegation some time soon, not had one for a few seasons now.
I agree with this. It isn't perfect, but there's so much turnover in the squad already. Ideally Keane would be out of the door, but with us needing to buy half a squad this summer it is an easy box to tick off Keane as 4th choice CB.
The first line I agree with, the second i'm not sure. Plenty of teams have players of Keane's level on the bench, we just don't care about them so don't notice it as much. As I've said numerous times, in an ideal world we wouldn't even be having...
Why do people keep obsessing with Delap. He hasn't even been that good this season. His goal ratio to minutes is worse than Beto. He even has a worse goals to minutes than fellow Ipswich striker George Hirst who has 0.47, Beto has 0.5 and delap...
If it's a 4th choice CB, taking a risk on a Branthwaite/Stones type lower league punt seems reasonable to me. Depends on who we bring in at fullback, I've always thought that more defensive minded fullbacks could act as an emergency CB in a...
I don't disagree with you, but a 22 year old promising centre back will likely cost quite a significant fee, and demand pretty regular first team football. That was pretty much the O'Brien deal last summer.
Another like Branthwaite or Stones...
I agree, but we probably also have to factor in that bringing someone else isn't necessarily going to be any cheaper overall. I'm not saying I want us to keep Keane, God knows I've hoped for him to be punted pretty much every day for the last 6/7...
In theory I think so-theres been flashes of ability when he gets on the pitch. But he hasn't played enough to really judge imo, especially since his injury. I'm kinda hoping he goes on loan next year for regular football.
Perhaps might be more...
I think with a full season as first choice, he can reliably hit 10-15 goals. That's something we've not had in years.
He's not perfect, but he's effective enough in the short to medium term for me. I'd look at buying a younger prospect who can...
