So, he runs the contract down after two years. Nobody has explained the structure clearly. This Charly is a winner as we have all seen and with a 2+1 deal he will be off to Athletico on a freebe to join his Argie mates.
I am sure that Charly will do well and will attract suitors after Year 1, so then what happens? He runs the second year down and gets a big contract elsewhere, maybe. A 2 year contract beats me!
When Charly plays he adds a touch of class that the forward line lacks. He is a hard worker, runs well with the ball and has a lot of potential.
