If you’d said after Newcastle we’d extend Branthwaite on a new deal and then sign: Grealish, Dewsbury Hall, Thierno Barry, Alcaraz, Aznou, Travers All before the first game of the season. Most of us would have taken that surely.

More quality and ability signed in the past week than we have had in the squad for years. Dewsbury Hall and Grealish both have great comfort on the ball and both have very good football brains. £2 mill a week is a a very high wage though.
