In my career to date (25+ years) I’ve seen many patients who deffo should’ve surrendered their licence way earlier than they did (and in some cases refused to).
The cops often say, 'chuck your licence in or we'll prosecute and take it anyway'. More often than not the elderly individual sees sense.
