Little bit of sympathy for Dyche, he was hampered by the p&s gubbins that landed on us, so his job (which was already a nightmare) was made more difficult, and the pressure just ramped up from there. We survived with him and survived him. Fair play.

I agree, but long term (as in the next 35 games) a good striker will win us more games than a RB or CM will save us. Not only for the goals, but the ability to take the pressure off the defence by holding on to the ball.
I think Ndiaye would be emergency Striker in that instance.
It's telling that even without a top class striker we've scored 7 in the last 3 games, largely due to the quality behind.

for a player with a few obvious weaknesses, he doesn't half put the effort in to put himself in the right places at the right times, especially with so many doubters. for that level of determination he deserves credit imo

Though we still were dominating. I think had we not conceded such a bad goal we may have scored another or just closed it out calmly.
But getting through a bit of adversity will also have toughened the team up a bit and given them confidence.
