Correct. Following on from that, not many teams without 2 recognised full backs on the pitch will beat Brighton.

My fear (as a TV viewer) of us losing some of the atmosphere in the new stadium has been put to shame. Today felt electric. Most important thing (to me) was us scoring the first official goal in the new stadium, just like us scoring the final...

At one point around 75 minutes, a Pickford punt up field was massively overhit and bouncing comfortably into Verbruggen. You could audibly hear Moyes shouting "go on Beto" as though it was a 50/50.

Much better performance and scoring the first goal at the new stadium and winning the first game at the new stadium is so important for setting the tone. Happy bank holiday weekend, blues!

Great start to life at our new home. We rode our luck at times, but scored 2 very good goals. Grealish looked good on his full debut. Much more to be optimistic about after Monday 😀

KDH has played 2 games. MOM in the first one and every player was gash in the second, with Charly giving the ball away (again) resulting in the pen. The awful squad has resulted in an awful lineup, square pegs everywhere, but we can’t keep...
