I believe they pushed it back a year, but the current/prior formula is heavily dependent on revenues as well (since it's a profitability measure).

Revenues should be up for 25-26. I'm not sure there will be much of a difference in wages given who has left this summer, and what was brought in (as well as new contracts for Branthwaite and Pickford?). We don't have a reference point since...

I don't think acquiring Mark Travers prevented us from getting a RB. What kind of outfield player could we get for 4 million?

He only has two years left on his deal, including this season. He'll be sold next summer to us or someone else. He'll have 16.5M left on his amortization after this season, that's not really the concern, more his wages and how that is settled.

I thought they did well with the Isak fee, only to give it away to Woltemade and Wissa. In a vacuum, all of these are good players, but horribly overpriced. Also, this didn't need to wait until the last day of the window.

Gana is not a DM and Moyes isn't asking him to be. In fact I thought both CMs were playing a bit high against Wolves. Garner showed he has some pace to get back, Gana-not so much.

I don't think we were getting a RB after Tete was gone, regardless of Rohl/Armstrong. The manager didn't prioritize it and frankly the names that were put across were not sure starters.

Against League One team. He's already proven he's well above that.

Rohl is only a loan midfielder to make the numbers work, he'll be a permanent signing next summer. I like the loan move for him. I thought he got pushed around on the American trip, he has obvious talent, he's just not quite ready yet. I think...

    8. RB was the big miss. But we got one of the most influential players on the market without a ridiculous current or future obligation. The majority of the signings were on the better side of youth.

Considering 2 of our signings were keepers and we're still short in a number of key positions this has been a poor window.

He did look unbothered last night, maybe he was telling Beckham he finally wants to fulfill his lifelong dream by playing at the Big Dick.

How in the world could this signing have sunk us?

The manager doesn’t see it as one of the higher priority positions
