A nice holiday, quiet, sunshine - gin and tonic! Grandchildren - an utter joy. A quiet pint, even alone. Everton community, people who care. Cricket, the utter joy of proper cricket, played as it should be. -

Nice to reread a favorite book again. I never used to do this. I appreciate that my 8yr old likes things I used to like, such as toy trains and Scooby Doo. It’s fun playing toy trains with him or watching Scooby Doo as an older adult.

The realisation that you are blessed compared to what other people have to endure in the world around you. A warm house, full belly and the promise of a peaceful day is an idea of heaven for our less fortunate brothers and sisters.

Just logged in to check my sons ballot results had a reserved ticket in my account. No email, nothing from the club, so two very happy lads now. Sure the blues on the pitch will bring them back down to earth with a bang.
