I'd 100% be looking to sign Fellows ahead of Southampton. Even if he was just as a squad player, he's young, can be developed and can do a decent enough job on RW. Would leave us funds to go after another few players too.
I said they COULD easily give him a new contract.
BUT they dont NEED to give him a new deal.
Whats hard to understand ???
If we dont pay the fee, he stays.....and will be cheaper next season. At which point....other clubs COULD be more...
Why would they give him a pay rise without a new contract? How much do you think we are going to pay him? That's the bench mark. Who said we were his only option? We're seemingly Southampton's only option if they want a decent fee for him. You're...
He is on £5k a week.....some of his teammates are on £60k a week.
They culld easily give him a rise and.
Either way....he doesnt even need a new contract....the cheaper he becomes...the more clubs will be interested..
I know blues think we are...
That's extremely naive. They are not going to commit to a massive wage increase without being in the premier league and including relegation clauses. Why would he sign a contract for less wages than he deserves and give up the opportunity for a...
If he signs a new deal or not.....him staying with them is not exactly un-realsitic as you say....if he is that good then he will get more interest from other clubs that may have not been sure about taking the risk on him.
We need to get him...
Yes they will, he is on a tiny amount, loves them & they can promise him the move next season.
If he is so untested, raw and as much of a risk as many blues think, then its not too realistic him staying and developing more.
Just imagine he does get the game time he needs to show the world how good he is.
Are we that lucky to have that happen ??? COuld we actually get a star here !?!?!
I’m not liking this Dibling deal.
£50m for someone unproven in the prem is a massive risk.
It’s ok taking £5-10m punts on the likes of Cahill and Lescott etc, in fact I think Timmy was only £2.5m back in the day.
