If he signs a new deal or not.....him staying with them is not exactly un-realsitic as you say....if he is that good then he will get more interest from other clubs that may have not been sure about taking the risk on him. We need to get him...

Yes they will, he is on a tiny amount, loves them & they can promise him the move next season. If he is so untested, raw and as much of a risk as many blues think, then its not too realistic him staying and developing more.

Or....he signs a new deal...stays, gets them back up, and they are fine. His value will be more next season.

I’m not liking this Dibling deal. £50m for someone unproven in the prem is a massive risk. It’s ok taking £5-10m punts on the likes of Cahill and Lescott etc, in fact I think Timmy was only £2.5m back in the day.
