No, but the money to pay for either assets or liabilities needs to come from the same pot. If we know we have future financial outlays that has to be taken into account in current spending. It seems for the first time that realisation has hit Farhad.

The money has to come from somewhere though, including future debt repayments to fund the build which directly filter into the profit and loss account through interest payments. To think the two are not linked is bonkers.

Well that should put to bed any more criticism of Brands. Managed to make a profit selling back to the club we bought him off. Add in the PSG loan fee and we have done reasonably well out of it compared to the money we've lost on most of the 25m players we have bought in recent years.

I'd rather keep him too but if he doesn't want to play for us and someone is prepared to pay some of his wages as part of the transfer of an exciting younger talent. Why not reduce the wage bill slightly and get what must be a bad egg out the door?

I'm pretty sure he was the worst striker in the Premier league last season according to the stats in terms of finishing chances. Given his price I'm not sure signing the striker of a club who struggled to score goals despite creating chances is the way forward.

Genuinely don't get what your issue is Dave. It is based on the black watch kit with the colour amended for obvious reasons. Not every fan will like it. I don't but have absolutely no issue with it being called the black watch or the colour change. Far, far more important stuff to get concerned...
