I have mostly backed him , But it's time to move on for both us and him. He is injured more than fit. His confidence is shot. Half the fans look like they are waiting for him to cock up. only way I would keep him is on reduced wages as a...

It's uncanny, no matter where the keeper is positioned or where lewin in shooting from, he nearly always manages to find him. Moving into the new stadium the club really does need to moving on and attracting far better than this.

There’s no point having a back up striker who is never fit and barely scores when he actually does make it on the pitch. His wages can be better invested elsewhere so we are not stuck with him into his 30s.

I can’t believe there are genuine shouts for him to stay. We want to reduce our wage bill - he’s one of our highest earners. We want a fit, robust squad - he’s a crock. We want committed players - he’s ran his deal down hoping for better...

9 in europe, and 3 of the remaining lot are crap (promoted sides). If you don't seize the momentum now (Moyes factor, new stadium and owners) when will you!

Difficult to take the ‘champions league’ seriously when nearly 1/3 of PL teams have qualified

the fact he started and doucoure didn’t makes me confident we’ll sign him, if moyes didnt fancy him it would have been very easy to give douc the swansong, plus newcastle away is a tough fixture so doucoure may have made sense in some ways the...

Absolute no brainer to get this lad in. Yes he’s still a little rough around the edges but his ceiling is high. We should be the ones to make him aim for that. For the reported £12m as well, surely it just makes sense financially. Even if he’s...

Love the way he's not scared to shoot on sight as well. Could have had a few today.

Just from a business perspective this makes absolute sense. Let’s hope we get him and he chips in with 15 G/A s next season

Serious error if he’s not signed the minute the transfer window opens.

Not signing him would be a bigger mistake than feeding a Mogwai after midnight.. 12 million pounds is a steal, average championship players go for that and more these days.

Know it’s been posted a few times but I’ll never get tired of reminding that it’s 15 million euros which is around 12 million pounds. Which makes it even more of a no brainer.

Stating both the obvious and what also seems consensus. At 15 million the club should simply need his signature. He's worth that at present level, when you factor he is 22 and showing signs improving i'm not sure what the contrarian take would...

Give him a full season with 2 or 3 better players around him and his stats could be a lot better than that. Would definitely love to see him signed and a lot of the out of contract players booted out.
