The fact that the oldest, largest and (in our opinion) best stadium in the WSL will be Goodison Park just gives me chills. And it means stadium tours will carry on I guess? Great for the club, great to have two stadium tours, more jobs etc. Up... -

Sunday is massive. The guys have played there since like forever. It deserves the goodbye it will get. It is brilliant that Goodison will remain, great for the womens team, great that fans can still go along to the ground.

If theres a big game at Bmd they could maybe show it at Goodison on the big screens with the womens team kicking off before or after it, whatever suits, That would push the attendance up

Great to hear that Goodison is staying around, although a few people on Facebook feel that the big goodbye on Sunday will be an anticlimax as such now. I would be inclined to agree we were building ourselves up emotionally for the big goodbye...

It was bought as a keepsake of an ending, not just an end of a chapter. Don't get me wrong I think its great we are keeping Goodison and I understand the reasons why the mens teams is off to BMD but tbh I wish we weren't moving at all.

Amazing! I could not be happier about that decision by the Club - after so many firsts in the men's game, blazing a trail in the women's game too. Plus we get to keep Goodison in the family, in the area and keep on playing football at the stadium too

That is a very beautiful thing. Glad such a wonderful stadium isn't being lost. When you look at some of the buildings that get protected status, you can't tell me Goodison isn't of immense historic and cultural significance that really on paper...
