The fact that the oldest, largest and (in our opinion) best stadium in the WSL will be Goodison Park just gives me chills. And it means stadium tours will carry on I guess? Great for the club, great to have two stadium tours, more jobs etc. Up...
Sunday is massive. The guys have played there since like forever. It deserves the goodbye it will get.
It is brilliant that Goodison will remain, great for the womens team, great that fans can still go along to the ground.
If theres a big game at Bmd they could maybe show it at Goodison on the big screens with the womens team kicking off before or after it, whatever suits,
That would push the attendance up
Yeah, I posted about running with a few thousand being viable, but you know, maybe TFG have a vision, and will be pioneers in women's football.
I hope it works. Watching in an iconic stadium may well put bums on seats, and be an inspiration to...
Great to hear that Goodison is staying around, although a few people on Facebook feel that the big goodbye on Sunday will be an anticlimax as such now.
I would be inclined to agree we were building ourselves up emotionally for the big goodbye...
It was bought as a keepsake of an ending, not just an end of a chapter.
Don't get me wrong I think its great we are keeping Goodison and I understand the reasons why the mens teams is off to BMD but tbh I wish we weren't moving at all.

Either way, they have put themselves in a position where they cannot win, unless they gain self perspective, which is a long shot with most of them.
Either he swerves it and it really highlights what they are.
Or
He goes and, even if it is the...
I saw the woman's derby at castle grayskull the other week and actually enjoyed it. The idea of standing in an old school scalled down version of the Gwladys has me hyped like hell. I've already paid for my season ticket for the men so I'm pretty...
Surprised though to read in the article that Goodison will become the permanent home for the women's team next season. Does that mean they are planning to keep the ground as is or remodel it bit by bit? Think it would be great too if the likes of...
Amazing!
I could not be happier about that decision by the Club - after so many firsts in the men's game, blazing a trail in the women's game too.
Plus we get to keep Goodison in the family, in the area and keep on playing football at the stadium too
That is a very beautiful thing. Glad such a wonderful stadium isn't being lost. When you look at some of the buildings that get protected status, you can't tell me Goodison isn't of immense historic and cultural significance that really on paper...
