I was thinking if we could incorporate some of the 12 mill, negotiate South of the agreed £50 mill, we could begin to amortise his cost.
If he has a good year here, we may face more competition next summer - if we dont want to pay £50 mill.
I agree and I think signing no one in January is more a sign of successful recruitment than anything as January buys tend to be overpriced paid buys.
So unless we sneak in a value buy we find from somewhere or a loan or two to pad things out...
