Irish derivation. Given one of his middle names is Francis, safe to say he's one of ours, esp if grandad was a blue. East Dublin (Liverpool) has been a second home.

Another caveat is the amount of free kicks we would get would be off the scale. He was the most fouled player in the Prem at one stage. Best get someone in that can deliver them too :oops:
