James Rodriguez signing is still mad to me. Eto’o was mad too, but he was proper over the hill whereas James was still absolutely boss when he played for us

Could be good or bad. Let's be honest, we've had quite a few over the years. two mind blown moments that stand out for me are when we signed Kanchelskis. i just couldn't believe how good he was. world class. The other one was a truly awful one...

Any update @Bryan+? I started a similar thread some years ago and while most recommendations were terrible, I did end up listening to LCD Soundsystem and Talking Heads as a result, so that was good.

Being 2nd on Boxing Day under Carlo and finishing 10th, 8 points off the top 4 after taking zero points from home games against the 2021 versions of Newcastle, Sheff Utd, Burnley, Aston Villa and Fulham.

From what I can see, a fair amount of these are down to sheer bungling and incompetence - so, it’s not just the cruel hand of fate at work here - we’ve been our own worst enemy a lot of the time. Hopefully we’re in better hands now.
