But it wasn’t a 3 month purple patch. Like, that’s completely false. He got 13 in the league in 19/20 and 16 in the league 20/21. Scored in the opening 3 games under Benitez and then got injured. His career was on upwards trajectory. Pointless...

I'm in 2 minds, personally I think a fit DCL is an asset, I'd like to see him get a run under a manager who tries to score goals. His injuries are a bit worrying but before this injury he had 2 seasons relatively injury free. I think he gets a...

People keep saying this about his two high scoring seasons. But it ignores that fact that before that he was 21. Not many 21 year olds are scoring shed loads in the prem. Then the seasons after that he has had persistent injuries through poor...

Thanks to it continuing as a working stadium, It’s no longer just the land value that’s important if we were looking to sell Goodison. We’re all too well aware that it’s not state of the art - but it was a top flight stadium in the biggest...

Crazy from the club this! Could have kept Keane on the wage he will be on. Sold him for 70m and used that to part fund increasing the ground capacity to 61878.

Yes. £20mill a year. 8th largest in the league. So we, like all clubs, get more upside in the kit deal per year. So the price of the kits mainly go to the manufacturers to make that outlay worthwhile.

Hummel has the best we’ve had in donkeys. Umbro generally a solid enough effort too. The Nike ones were awful

I think the initial design (and indeed one of the main motives to go to BMD) was for if we'd gotten the Commonwealth games. That would've come with a lot of additional funding. Unfortunately, that got brought forward 4 yrs due to Durban dropping...

We didn’t concede a single goal with Senderos on the pitch. And Gardner I don’t think kicked a ball?

No he never. He had loan spells at both Blackburn rovers and PSV. Not a great option for 4th choice centre back if they’re contracted to play for another club.

I’m not overly comfortable with the celebrating and all that. I mean I don’t think he should get a contract that he would think is acceptable but he did do some good things for us. Sure he missed goals, got crocked but I genuinely couldn’t...

You don’t nurture a player by having them fourth choice and not playing regular football.

I don't think you'll be able to find hospitality on a ad-hoc basis with complimentary drink at any Premier League ground for £230-£300. £300-£500, lower end midweek/less priority games i wouldn't disagree with.

Also, over the coming years there will be lots of business people from across the world visiting Liverpool to consider investment. They won’t bat an eyelid at putting 700 quid per person down to entertain some potential clients during a one off...
