Said it before. Money is the main driving force. Not history. Not new stadiums. Just cold hard cash.

The modern footballer, especially foreign, has no clue or care about our history. They weren’t even born when we won Stuff. It’s all about money, and selling them our ambition. It’s not hard to see why we miss out to other teams.

They had less distance to fall from though. Only been a top flight club again since early 2000s and been relegated in that stint. Im agreeing with you by the way, just think our stock was already pretty low.

That ship sailed years ago. Over 30 years since a trophy. Our stock is very low.
