Not wrong there, but that should be beholden on Iwobi staying or going. He's no more the winger we need than Gray is - hence they're both being shipped out. Based on 45 minutes this week we need two winger getting to the byline and pinging some nice deep balls into the box. Not much football...

Don't disagree with the sentiment about the ownership. But we can't just keep spending money given the mistakes of the past 6 years. Be realistic; most of the money coming in is to appease the FFP gods

The Iwobi deal is incredible business irrespective of any additional signings coming in. Harrison more than covers the 'gap' in the squad, and can actually play as a winger which is what we need. Dyche hasn't played Iwobi in what many perceive to be his best position so far, and therefore is...

    Summer transfer window 2023

Maybe, and just a hunch here. Sinisterra wasn't on the club's list of targets despite several people on here saying we should sign him...

Full back wise - we'd do much worse than James Justin. Whether Leicester are selling after they just let Castagne go though is a different matter.

He really is, and he'd be perfect for us. As would Broja, and Lewis Hall come to mention it. Alas we're unlikely to be able to afford to sign them

Definitely. If there are ongoing negotiations about any change of ownership or substantial investment there will be an internal embargo on actually signing players. Doesn't mean we're not in discussion with clubs, agents, players - but if the MSP buy-in does go ahead it sounds like there...

Zat. We HAVE to increase our revenue. The only way we can do that is by the sale of playing assets at the moment. So if we get Onana for £30m last summer and he plays well enough for someone to pay £40m for him this summer; that's £10m profit. Given the comparatively low matchday revenue...

They do indeed. It won't be with Everton unfortunately. You have to accept that we have to profit on these signings and continue to find more of them. When we get to the stage that we're settled, winning and financially stable then we can hopefully keep whoever the future Onana, Garner...

    Summer transfer window 2023

I'm annoyed that the club has not been able to develop and stick to any form of footballing strategy on and off the field for the past 6 years. I'm annoyed that we've continually flip-flopped between managers, each time giving them input into the player recruitment to best fit their system...

Don't forget that we'll have to sell anyone who will attract a decent fee to ensure that we make some positive moves financially. I imagine the rage from several on here and twitter when we sell someone for £40m+ and reinvest in cheap or free more workmanlike players will be palpable.

    Farhad Moshiri

Nope. Had to write off his debt as a 'gift' to the club.

    2022/23 Sean Dyche

This was the Burnley strategy pre-investment. Indicates that the previous ownership wanted a certain profile of player or were very restrictive from a budget perspective. After the US investment the incoming player profile changed slightly as the financial shackles were loosened. Plus Burnley...

    January Transfer Window 2023

Brands nor Thelwell seem to be able to do the job of a DoF because Moshiri or Kenwright (or both) apparently know best and plough their own path. Until this changes and football people are allowed to run the football side of the club we will see no progress on or off the field. There is no...
