The “deal sheet” thing is contrived Sky drama I reckon. Same with all the other “deal sheets” they’re all done deals, but they need to create suspense and drama and keep people tuned in for another few hours.

Makes it look like we’ve been busy on this deal all day and therefore gives an excuse for not signing anyone else. A tried and trusted classic of Everton deadline days.
