Clubs all need a replacement lined up mate. Apart from Everton obviously, as we can watch 11 players walk out the door and not have anything lined up at all.

Alcaraz dragged on and we paid the clause anyway. Barry is a rotation and Travers is a backup player. We haven't signed a single player to strengthen the first 11. I think that is very poor indeed.

Everyone else seems to be making signings without clubs stalling them to find their replacement. Even we did it with Barry. It’s not an excuse. We have a squad of 15 useable players.

Why did Villarreal not stall us for Barry for this reason? Because it’s not a reason is why.
