Not stupid at all... We all know the longer this drags out, the less likely it is we are going to make any big signings. In recent years we have always had surprising links which we have always accepted and would love to have gotten, but...

We should have really had any signings in by now to get to know the team, manager etc so we were ready to go by 18th August.

Yes, they are. A lot worse. You underestimate the gap between a premier league player and an under 21 player. Just look at Dobbin for an example. He had no idea how to play in the premier league.

We’re a couple of injuries away from starting Metcalfe in Premiership games. Let’s not try and play this down with the “we’re already stronger than last year” b0llocks.

T Think it's completely dead on all fronts really..... Only real links were Luiz and Mcatee.... both seem to be waiting on / wanting other offers, and can you blame them? Then the other one it seems everyone is pinning their hopes on is loose...

Absolute madness.... same people who are saying wait till 1st September after almost 10% of the season is already over to judge the window.

Alcaraz was here last season. I think it’s pretty astonishing that people are trying to argue we’re not weaker than when we finished last season.

Even Harrison…. Still better than any options we have on the right. So yes we are weaker than last season in both team and squad. And tbf Doucoure is better than Garner.
