I’ve seen ambitious clubs pull off signings like this before, you have to put yourself in the conversation otherwise what’s the point.

Isn’t it common for opening bids being rejected? It’s rare a club pays the asking price first time of asking, if we really want him we’ll keep at it, I’m sure a compromise can be found.
