Agree with that, and I have said he needs time regardless of where we finish (other than relegation). I don’t see us finishing 7th though. Another of summer rebuilding with a consistent vision is needed to assess Silva.
Much improved since the break in early February.
3 clean sheets in 4 games despite playing 2 of the Top 6 teams
Only outlier was the Newcastle away game. Felt a bit of a mad one and a fair bit of that is on the GK's performance.
I'm beginning to wonder about that sex appeal thing, Steven.
I've not seen anyone claim they would like to lose their gay virginity to him for months now.
I'm starting to think they only fancy him when he plays good football. Fickle or what?
Forty five minutes is a long time in football. I would guess there was very little criticism of the manager at half time.
So disappointing after two creditable results and the opportunity was there to make it three.
At least there are some...
Yeah, pretty much in line with the twitter poll I believe (I'm sure Adam said the site one was 50/50 in his video the other day tho??).
I agree with some people's point that it may be a case of diminishing returns, but that's not really a...
The poll suggests it's more like 64% in favour for all games, 32% for top 6 games and 4% against. So 96% fans represented on here would like them to be used more regularly with the majority polling for ALL games.
Has to be for every game - otherwise we're giving the opposition an easy motivation point. If we don't play it "they don't respect us"; if we do "they're scared of us". And it's way too good not to use.
Also, does anyone else remember a time...
I would use judgement but with some loose rules:
all PL cup games
all night games
Not a fan of these 'any top-six game' shouts. It completely lacks tradition; the antithesis of Everton Football Club. Since when have we gone around...
Every home game. Every single home game.
Not just at Goodison, but also when we move to Bramley Moore.
Imagine that siren being heard all over the city centre, signalling the arrival of the lads in royal blue, :celebrate:
Every game without fail. We need something to bring the whole stadium together at that single moment the players walk out the tunnel. The polite applause and a bit of clapping / cheering are nothing compared to Sunday. For an idea of how to get a...
Amazing what a bit of effort can do from people at Everton isn’t it. Even just going back to something we used to do helped whip the crowd up. Hacks me off how the club have given up doing anything to help give us a competitive edge. The pre...
All the post-match interviews have stressed how important the loud support was. Silva said it did 20 or 30% of the job for the team.
It should be like that for all games at Goodison. Easier said than done I suppose.
