They are saying 'next generation' though, so they aren't comparing them to Rooney. Rooney imo was one of the best ever players in the world so Foden and Bellingham not being at his level doesn't mean they aren't great players in their own right

He played in the middle and on both wings for Ipswich, he’s been the standout player for Ipswich and the u21s (this current tournament). Another decent player from the Chelsea storage unit. I like him a lot, he’s got a lot going for him.
