Let’s be honest we’ve all probably been there before. The women we fancy don’t fancy us and vice versa. We need the transfer equivalent of Beer to get things going.

Full backs with fully functioning legs would be a refreshing approach.

Maybe. Need to find somewhere to offload him to. Can't imagine a long line of suitors.

But if we sign a RB which surely we must do, we will have 3 specialist right backs and two in O’Brien and Garner who can cover.

Great news Don't be negative, don't be negative, don't be negative..................................hopefully no release clause

Come on lets be positive. As it stands today we are Doucoure short of what arguably is our best team from last season. A team that from the date of Moyes taking control was in the upper half of the table on form. Our starting 11 may not be...

Same with loans I am afraid. It therefore has the potential to be a scramble at the end of the window.

I suspect that it may be a little like Dominoes. Get some Frees in and then determine the priority as to where we need to spend this years money. Loans at the end of the window to supplement.

It's a fair point and I personally wouldn't sign him because he is likely to cost quite a lot. But I was making the general point that he was still a much better player than McNeil, Harrison and Lindstrom. Do we need two on the left. Yes we...

Yeah, he’s a very promising talent, but still very raw. Very surprised he went for that much. Sunderland have done well getting that. I can’t see him starting any time soon for Dortmund (famous last words considering what his brother did there)...

Sorry Mate not having a go, but what does a “roster spot” mean.

Maybe but for ppl to want to hit that release clause he will have to perform for us Which puts us in a stronger position to replace him or get good enough he dosen’t need to leave to win things

If he joins I’d imagine there’d be a release clause.

The huge -and somewhat forgetten/overlooked on my part- positive I'm taking from this thread is that we're free of Holgate. There's absolutely no way on gods earth that we haven't been paying most of his wages.
