I've always taken my glasses back to the bar on leaving the place. Not often you get a thank you nowadays though, not in city centre pubs anyway.

I've noticed a decline in the civility of pub goers, is it my imagination ? I always take my glasses to the bar, let others before me be served, no feckin' queuing. Am I alone in doing this ? Any others ?

Wetherspoons in Heswall ; they've always got at least one on, and at a ridiculous £1.79 a pint on Wedesdays, it's kept very decently. I've seen other Peerless brews in my local micro pub in Upton.
