When was this and what was the age? I'm not doubting you, just I must have missed that.

Hey guys what a great Friday story! We now got footballer names we’ve never heard of before to speculate about all weekend before Everton never sign them! Perfect, let’s YouTube and pretend to be scouts.

Agree totally but the game now is ridiculously over officiated so they'll be patting each other on the back telling each other how clever they are

The promoted sides all going down is a very recent thing tbh, it’s happened twice in like 25 years or so. Just need to look at the table last season to see relatively recently promoted sides that have sailed past us.

You should read your comments in the Keane thread.

Your summary of what's happened so far is maybe a little bit puffed up to make it sound more impressive than it actually is. We didn't renegotiate on Alcaraz, we triggered the option to buy at the price we had already agreed in January. Barry was...

With each window it becomes more and more obvious that footy fans (surely it can’t just be Evertonians that are this rabid?) don’t care about transfers, they care about transfer NEWS. They would rather be fed spurious rumours daily than just...

It seems like a pretty heavy handed solution to what is ultimately a fairly minor issue, but that doesn't necessarily surprise me.

I think the rule change would be because referees are struggling to deal effectively with encroaching which let's be honest every team cheats at

You never know how these things will pan out but on the face of it Sunderland are doing some good business and have a nucleus of good young players who I can see improving. Teams do 'suddenly turn into a prem side' over the summer, quite literally.

Brighton, Brentford, Fulham, Bournemouth did a lot of business in the year they came up. It can work if you have a good scouting and recruitment set up. Time will tell with Sunderland but they have a fighting chance.

Think the Sunderland manager is a bit of a clever clogs, I think they will stay up myself.

Shared my view before, during and now - that removing them was a mistake. If it was my club, I'd have given Thelwell/Purdy a go with some money - we were definitely in for the likes of Gyokeres, Kudus, Wesley, Minteh, Elanga, Ekitike - but it...

As it stands we’re playing a pretty dangerous game of “let’s hope we get no injuries and our starting XI can be flogged for 100 minutes every week without tiring”. A player like Gana will need to have his minutes managed much more this season if...

I was just taking the post I replied to at face value really, the post you quoted didn't mention non-existent injuries or say we couldn't compete at all so I didn't realise that was the context. The post you were replying to is effectively just...
