Just to be clear like, claiming that the new owners are amazing and that any deals which gets reported must be a dead clever idea and a good thing - even if you don’t actually have any idea as to why it would be - is every bit as daft and...

I couldn't see this happening unless we got a player in exchange that we would use. I find it hard in general to see deals being done between the clubs over time. Not because of raised eyebrows, more that a deal that suits both clubs at the same...

Not sure I see the logic in that. For FFP and Roma, it would be a wash as well. Neither club benefits or loses in that scenario financially.

On a (very) basic level maybe. Obviously if we buy the lad for £30m, loan him to Roma, he breaks his leg in his first game and is never the same player again then it very much does have an impact on Everton as we pay a bloke for 4 more years and...

I think Moyes fits his tactics to suit the players. The running channels stuff is just an unjustified stick to beat him with.

Were they? I don’t remember that being a feature under moyes? As has been said elsewhere, they were often tasked with running the channels a lot but I don’t recall us actually using them wide much, other than being asked to do a job for the team...

I can’t imagine him doing that. A big part of the appeal of using Cahill, fellaini, soucek etc the way he did was that they were naturally midfielders, and had the defensive instincts and ability to keep the shape that comes with that. It wasn’t...

You can tell some people read an athletic long read once about how it’s good to sign young players and now apply it to every situation without any nuance whatsoever.

You said, "Most good young players now aren't interested in being that low down the pecking order. They want to play." So which is it now? Do they want to play, or does that actually not matter that much as you are now admitting? And yes, the...

It very much is though, despite you refusing to accept it. Nobody wants us to resign Michael Keane, surely you can understand that? Some people are able to read between the lines and think that it's either him or someone very similar to him and...

Replied to the wrong post there...Sorry 😂
  • Lanolin
No, everybody knows they exist but they just aren't very good.
  • Lanolin
Yeah it was always going to be a free transfer. I thought we'd have managed to get somebody a bit better than Gunn to be honest, just a case of hoping Pickford keeps up his good appearance record because you definitely do not want him to be...

Got a cheek calling anyone a clown when you’ve just suggested spending the entirety of the transfer budget on a CB to sit on the bench, while we have no right winger, no fit right back and a desperately thin midfield. We all know Keane is crap...
