I don't really see the relevance? Like I said in the post you're quoting and lots of others before, I'm not saying we can't win the game, only that I don't think it's an ideal game first up. Again, I really don't think it's a hugely controversial...
That's not really the same thing though is it to be fair? I can't fly to New York tomorrow, get a burger king in the airport and say it cost me £800 for my dinner.
Why do people think of these premium tickets like they are GA tickets? These include food and drinks and best seats in the house. And the whole point is to make as much money as possible. These seats are one of the main reasons club built a new...
Yes? They got relegated 2 years ago with a massive chip on their shoulder because they think we robbed them of a place in the PL. If you don't think they'll be massively up for it playing under the lights first game back up against us then fine...
I think you're overthinking it just a little bit (OK massively) to be honest. A couple of people have mentioned that it's not the easiest start, there's not some sort of mass breakdown about it being an unwinnable game. I think it's quite a tough...
Be very tough that, a promoted team is always up for it first few games and let's face it they do hate us top to bottom, added spice.
On another note see Liverpool have been given they're favourite whipping boys, no shock there then.
I'm not sure that's true to be honest, some games are obviously harder than others and it's a bit weird to suggest otherwise. At this moment in time we're probably not actually better than Leeds anyway because we'd struggle to put an XI out on...
Nobody wants a newly promoted side in the first couple of weeks when it's all still new and exciting for them, you want to play them once the reality has set in, the fans have gone quiet and the players have realised they're out of their depth...
Obviously have to see how they pan out before going overboard but fair play to the new regime, the last couple of backroom additions have certainly been the type of thing you're hoping to see from the club.
