He's been a good player for us but not for a few injury plagued years. Hopefully that's the last time we'll see him in an Everton shirt.

A shame but he still lead the team out and played for fifteen minutes so with his general fitness these days that's what he can manage rather than missing out completely.

Yes, reality simply has to bite now. Unless we are to remain a charity. Today should be it. And what a day to go out on. Thank you, Seamus. Don't spoil it now, though.

Perfect opponent, good to not get anyone chasing Europe today. Can see this being 3 or 4 nil no problem. Ndiaye having lots of fun out there so far. Need to sign more quality for him to work with in the final third.

As I said months ago today would be Coleman's testimonial. Hope everyone enjoyed it! No issue with him sticking around on the coaching staff but I can't believe he'll get another player contract.

With all respect to David Moyes and one or two others he was the last proper manager of this club. He was the last manager to put a trophy into the trophy cabinet. He never lost to the rs as our manager as well. He bled Blue and believed that...

Howard was a panic appointment. They spend the summer courting Bobby Robson and Andy Gray and the erstwhile Sky pundit played them for idiots, getting a huge pay rise in the millions out of it. A great player for us was Andy. But he wasn't averse...

Was instrumental in pretty much all my greatest Everton experiences. My favourite game ever the 2-0 Derby host first game, Duncans first goal. The cup win 95 obviously, went every round including Bristol city away, never thought I'd end up...

Brilliant. Arguably the best Everton performance in a high pressure game since the 80s that day.

Some had turned against him when he was sacked I can't really remember my feelings at the time . One thing in hindsight I wish we had given him more time because he was a hell of a lot better than what was to follow. I do remember what Davek has...

To be fair they both regretted the decision as rash and admitted that it was largely caused by a misunderstanding and short tempers.

Was a real false dawn wasn't it? Signed Kanchelskis on the back of the cup win which was exciting and also got Barmby from Boro for 5m or so early in the 1996 season, he was starting for England at the time so he was backed in that period and the...
