Come on Everton ffs - get some players in so we can finally have a proper pre-season and at least half enter the new season hitting the ground running. Fed up of us looking like a group of strangers for the first three months of a season.

It is not extremely early though, the players are already back in training so dropping a few signings in at the start of the season is not good planning. Why could the deals for Branthwaite and Gueye not have been executed at least 1 month...

If we are only at 'tracked' stage, then thers a long way to go. Need 3-4 weeks of 'intensifying' before we can get vaguely excited.

I went to San Sebastián in April and went to watch Sociedad. They lost 2-0 and were awful on the day but I remember thinking Kubo looked very good, quick, tricky and worked hard. San Sebastián is fantastic by the way and well worth a visit.
