Im ok with this, hes a squad option that is always fit and available, there could be a massive influx of players this year and having a model pro like young around isn't a bad move. Particularly if Coleman is moving into the coaching staff 🤞
Moyes has generally been using him as he should have been used for 2 years. 10/15mins, emergency starts which he is fine for.

Agree with this. Coleman will likely retire and patterson is probably not going to cut it with us. If Obrien stays RB then Young is the cover. More pressing areas to fill.

If he’s still up to it physically I’m not against him as a backup. Must be a fantastic influence in the dressing room as well.
Not bothered about Young. He’s on very little. He can cover a number of positions. He was playing great early this season too - 3 assists, 1 goal isn’t to be sniffed at. You can’t get a whole new squad in one window, so keeping a few old heads...
