Matt Le Tissier's highest ever wage was 3.5k p/w  He retired in 2002. To put that in perspective, John Barnes was earning 10k p/w in the early 90's and before that decade was out, Roy Keane was getting 50k p/w
Learned that watching this:
Never watched a drama series more than once other than The Soprano's and that's only because my wife wanted to watch it.
Pretty much every decent sitcom (mainly English) has been watched several times. My favourites being The Simpsons and...
You can tell some people read an athletic long read once about how it’s good to sign young players and now apply it to every situation without any nuance whatsoever.

Isn't there something else about cash flow also? I vaguely remember us waiting on a date for tv money under the last donkey who owned us. Cash flow was talked about a lot. It might be irrelevant tbh, not sure.
We literally have Barry lined up which would put us right up there just below the Super League clubs in money spent.
Thats how little happens early on.
Think its mainly down to a couple of things, PSR being the big one
But the other is waiting...
BBC Football are doing a 'live' transfer thread every day it seems. I had a little perusal of it late yesterday, it features a lot of comments by fans. Man Utd, Forest and Newcastle are particuarly twitchy and complaining about not getting...
