Soucek would be a really useful squad player. He’s a great runner into the box ala Timmy C. He would net a lot here.

Motivational technique/psychology. If you think about it, Grealish has been crushed by being coached to an inch of his life by Pep. This is part of trying to get him being spontaneous again.

Technique is very much secondary to athletic prowess nowadays. If he can hustle and chip in with the odd goal like Bent then he will be doing his job.
