There is value in continuity, but not much value in too much of it - we've been largely gash for half a decade with a lot of this squad.
It needs building on significantly.
I just think, regardless of what happens, a starting XI of the below should be beating Leeds United regardless of new transfers. No excuses this season to not be strong.

Whoever was running the show the last few seasons definitely forfeited the first few games until the window shut. They put valuable points in the bin over a few quid.

Most teams utilise the whole squad during games, we fell apart at the start of last season because even the weakest sides could make four or five subs.
So relying on the core 10 lads that done well might not work like you think.
Definitely need to get a good start and can't just be throwing away August again.
Signings will help but so will a decent preseason and not just having the lads do 12 gaffers day's.
Worry for me is that we don't get the key players in before the first game and like the past few seasons we forfeit the first couple of games and look so off the pace and disjointed.
Be refreshing if we do get the main targets before the Leeds...
